See a month run, screen by screen

Seven screens from a demo CA firm, Joshi Rao & Associates, in the second week of November with the October GST cycle under way. The firm and its clients are fictional.

The sign-in page has one-click accounts for the demo firm. Nothing in it is sent to anyone.

  1. Say what you collect

Each service has a checklist. Mark what is required and what a client may say none to, and add a hint the client sees.

The checklists settings page: the documents asked for each service, each marked required or may say none, with hints for the client.
  2. Decide when reminders go

The request goes when the period ends; reminders before and after your cut-off; escalation for a call a few days later. Sunday stays quiet.

The reminder rules page: the October GST schedule from the request through the last-day reminder, the cut-off and two overdue reminders to escalation, with Sunday as the quiet day and the rules that always apply.
  3. The client uploads from their phone

Your firm's name at the top, one button per document, item names in the client's language. Each file is checked as it arrives.

The client's upload page on a phone, under the CA firm's name: the GST checklist for October with two documents received and an Upload button for each one still missing, with the item names also in Marathi.
  4. Start the day on Today

The period's track from opening day to GSTR-3B, every client counted by status, and only what needs a person: reviews, flagged files, calls.

The Today page of a demo CA firm: the October GST deadline track with the client cut-off, GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B dates, client counts by status, and a list of what needs the partner today, starting with a review to approve.
  5. Review, send back, approve

Every file with who sent it and when. Send one back with a reason, or start the review when everything is in. A partner or manager approves.

A client's GST checklist ready for review: each document received with its file, a reason list and a Send back button beside each one, and the client cut-off and statutory dates above.
  6. See the whole firm

Clients by team member, who cannot be reached, who is escalated, and when the documents came in against the cut-off.

The partner dashboard: the period's deadline track, clients by team member with their status bars, and the clients escalated for a call.
  7. Every change on the record

Who did what and when, for every client, filterable and downloadable as CSV.

The audit trail: every change with the day, time, who made it and what happened, with filters and a CSV download.
